Welcome to my blog

Hey there readers,
My name is Andrew Gomez; I have been a professional welder for about 8 to 9 years now. I made this blog to help out other people in the welding community to get a job and also provide some tips and review on welding products.

I have worked on both in the US and offshore for 2 different companies.  When I was working offshore, I was working on an oil rig and boy was it tough.  But it was cool since I got to see some of the world and I also dived regularly which was good since I got to see some marine wild life. Sharks, various types of fish, star fish, crab you name it, I saw them all.

When I was working in the US, I was working for a construction company who made skyscrapers, flats, houses etc.  Life was much easier and the pay was good as well but when the recession hit, it was a bad industry to be in since nobody wanted expensive building being made when they were on the verge of bankruptcy.

Enough about me, I hope you enjoyed this little short post and I hope you enjoy the many posts that are about to come!
